A lot of us spend so much time living out life that we actually fail to stop and see the things around us. This blog is dedicated to sharing heartfelt, touching and sometimes funny moments in life that remind us of the things that really matter.
When I was 28 years old, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and I have tried to live a life that is pleasing to him ever since. The Christian road has had many bumps, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
I've been married only one time and we have three great kids (one of which is married now). I have been working in a fire truck manufacturing plant for the past ten years. Before that, I was in the United States Air Force for 11 years. Before that, I worked a number of different places including: Wal-mart, K-Mart, a wholesale grocery store, a vacuum cleaner repair shop and a fruit packing warehouse. In addition, I spent the majority of my young life working in my grandfather's vegetable fields and I also worked for an entire year at a marble and granite place where I learned to put in headstones.
As far as college education goes, I have two AA degrees. One in Avionics Sensor Systems Technology (received from the Community College of the Air Force) and one in General Education from Lake Sumter Community College in Leesburg, Florida. I planned to go on to the University of Florida to get a bachelor's degree in graphic design, but that was not a path that life led me down.
My life has been varied but, what I would consider to be, very average. I try to savor life and enjoy every minute that I have with my family.
